Spending nearly two months in Florida during the winter is heaven to me. I’m definitely a warm weather person, so I was in my element. I’m not someone who can sit still and just “chill” for a few weeks at a time, so I was on a mission to shoot a bit while I was in Tampa. I had never been to Fort De Soto in St. Pete, but it seemed like the perfect spot for an elopement shoot and it totally was! It had an old, “piratey” feel, which was right up my alley. I especially loved the bride’s dress and hairstyle. The braids and loose curls really complimented the boho beach vibes we were going for. I also loved the groom’s ensemble. It was simple, yet sophisticated! We couldn’t have picked a better day to shoot- it was 75 and sunny! We shot early in the evening, so we also got some pretty cool sun flares.
