Murder, madness, mystery, and mayhem. But more fun than you can imagine. This was hands-down my favorite shoot EVER. I grew up playing the board game and obsessively watching the movie, so when I heard about this shoot I was elated! I drove all the way from Barrington to Battle Creek, Michigan. It was a 3 ½ hour drive one way, but totally worth it! It was a rainy, September day, which was the perfect vibe for the shoot. The first thing I noticed when I pulled up were the vintage cars on the lot. Right away I knew this would be a good day!
The venue was super cute and had tons of spots to photograph in. We shot the entire group in the gazebo, which was exquisitely decorated. There were so many little details from the board game that were incorporated into the shoot. We even had a suspect board on display, which looked super cool! With candles burning and grey skies still visible near dusk, the moody vibes were on fleek. I loved everything about this shoot because it was fun and so unique. I’m all about moody vibes, so I hope to do more shoots in 2020 like this one!
Venue: Southern Exposure Farm, Battle Creek, MI
